ABOUT DENVER POST CHARITIES
Through Denver Post Charities, a McCormick Foundation Fund, funding is proudly provided to Denver-area nonprofit organizations that offer literacy services as well as programs that serve low-income youth. Since the program’s inception in 1992, more than $24 million has been distributed through Denver Post Charities to local nonprofit agencies in support of their work to improve the quality of life in our community. In 2008 alone, 35 organizations received $397,000 through Denver Post Charities.

Funds for Denver Post Charities are raised through events and partnerships throughout the year. All money raised is matched at 50 cents on the dollar by the McCormick Foundation. One hundred percent of all funds raised, plus the match, are distributed to local nonprofit agencies.
