Complete with a scheming witch, an innocent girl, a beloved father and a handsome prince, this ballet chronicles a journey filled with things that aren’t quite what they appear. In both pieces, the human voice proclaims the universal notions of love, light, joy and brotherhood - boldly announcing triumph over darkness and sorrow. This concert features Jeffrey Kahane, music director; Charlotte Dobbs, soprano; Barbara Rearick, mezzo-soprano; Benjamin Butterfield, tenor; Robert Gardner, baritone; CSO Chorus, Duain Wolfe, director and the Colorado Children's Chorale.
