2017 Employee Volunteer Projects Announced!
Volunteerism is a part of The Denver Post’s culture, because we believe when we volunteer our time, money, or talents, we help make our world a better, happier place where people work together and improve life for others. Giving back is an enriching experience for all involved and our employees take pride in donating their personal time for a wide range of projects each year. The Denver Post is proud to offer its employee volunteer program ACTS, Assisting the Community Through Service, as a year-round opportunity to make a difference.
In 2017, our employees, with their family and friends, will help make a difference atMile High Early Learning (Northeast) through AMP The Cause’s Community Dayin May, for the Denver Public Library Friends Foundation in June, setting up the annual Used Book Sale, for Denver Public Schools Foundation in July, by collecting school supplies for the MEED program which works with students facing homelessness, at Food Bank of the Rockies in November, by reclaiming and packaging food for low-income families, and with Basket of Joy in December, by packing and delivering Baskets of Joy to help nominated seniors in Metro Denver.
