Congratulations to Colorado FFA Foundation

The Denver Post Community Foundation and The Denver Post Pedal The Plains Bicycle Tour were proud to present a $7,000 grant to the Colorado FFA Foundation on Friday, September 14, 2018 in Bennett, CO. This grant will go towards the Jacket for Everyone program, which helps students all across Colorado have access to an FFA jacket to complete their official dress.

During Pedal The Plains, the Blue Jackets were seen everywhere. FFA members provided the lunches each day and were all along the route ensuring cyclists were having a great time. They ended the PTP Tour handing out medals and cold FFA towels as folks crossed the finish line. The Colorado FFA Foundation State Officers and Don Thorn, Colorado FFA Foundation Executive Director, accepted the check from Deirdre Moynihan, Pedal The Plains Tour Director (not pictured) and Stacy Schafer, Communications and Grants Manager of The Denver Post Community Foundation.
