Congratulations to Scholars Unlimited
We were pleased to welcome bestselling author and American historian, Michael Beschloss to The Denver Post Pen & Podium stage to help bring the 15th P&P season to a close on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. Beschloss had a great way of connecting with the sold-out crowd to share what he has uncovered with his research of the past U.S. Presidents.
Prior to Michael’s lecture, he joined us backstage to present a $5,000 grant to Scholars Unlimited to help support their mission to support low-income, academically struggling young learners by providing rigorous literacy instruction and enrichment programs to help students achieve measurable success — and to inspire life-long learning. Beschloss also spent time at a reception talking with guests from Northwestern Mutual, a Pen & Podium sponsor.
