The Denver Post Community Foundation, a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency, raises funds through individual and corporate donations, through four unique Signature Events and Programs, including the annual holiday campaign Season To Share. The overall mission is to improve and enrich the lives of those in our community through support of programs that benefit arts and culture; children and youth; education and literacy; and the provision of basic human services. Since inception in 2011,over $6,656,750.00 has been raised and distributed. Many thanks to our partners and to the thousands of donors and event participants over the years who have helped to improve and enrich the lives of those in our community.
- Signature Events and Programs
These well-established events and programs have become staples in the community with many lasting over 30 years. They offer partners, participants and volunteers something unique each year. They include: Pen & Podium, Passport To The Arts, and the Colorado State Spelling Bee.
Through the 2022/23 Denver Post Season To Share campaign, $1,565,000 is benefiting 62 metro Denver nonprofit agencies. Thanks to more than 3,400 donors, a generous match from our partner The Denver Children’s Foundation, our partnership with MDC/Richmond American Homes Foundation and the Denver Post readers, we can support agencies providing life-changing programs to low income children, families and individuals to help move them out of poverty and into stabilization and self-sufficiency.
