/in Uncategorized /by sschaferRegister now for a chance to purchase tickets to join us on this historic journey aboard the Union Pacific Railroad’s train led by steam locomotive No. 844 to the Cheyenne Frontier Days “Daddy of ’em All” Rodeo in Wyoming on Saturday, July 21. This full day of western hospitality includes breakfast and a light dinner on the train, a barbecue lunch in Cheyenne and prime seating at the rodeo itself.
The Denver Post Colorado State Spelling Bee is on Saturday, March 10
/in Uncategorized /by sschaferGood luck to all students from across Colorado competing for a chance to be the Colorado State Spelling Bee champion! The 2018 Bee is March 10 at Sturm Hall on the University of Denver Campus, 2000 E. Asbury Ave., Denver CO 80210.
More than 280 students will begin the day testing their abilities with a written spelling and vocabulary test to hopefully advance as a finalist for the afternoon (approximately 35 spellers.) The oral portion with the finalists will begin at 1 p.m. and is open to the public and free to attend. The champion will go on to represent Colorado in the Scripps National Spelling Bee near Washington D.C. to compete for a $40,000 cash prize. For media inquiries, please call 303-915-1609.
