“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” – Winston Churchill
At The Denver Post our commitment to the community, along with providing the best in information reporting possible, has always been a critical part of the overall goal and mission of the newspaper. The Denver Post Community believes in giving back to the communities in which it serves and proudly supports hundreds of nonprofits’ programs and events. Support is given in many ways: through The Denver Post Community Foundation, employee volunteering and in-kind advertising. Last year, over $6,000,000 in value was contributed.
Through The Denver Post Community Foundation, we enhance our commitment to making a difference in the lives of those in our community. It is a part of our ongoing legacy and mission to ensure that the people we serve have the best possible opportunity to live the highest quality of life. We raise funds through individual and corporate donations, through four unique Signature Events and Programs which includes our annual holiday campaign Season To Share.
The Denver Post Community Foundation’s mission is to improve and enrich the lives of those in our community through support of programs that benefit arts and culture; children and youth; education and literacy; and the provision of basic human services. Since 2011, more than $4,886,750 has been granted to local nonprofit agencies.
We look forward to working with you in the future to improve and enrich the lives of those in our community, and to all who have supported these efforts, we thank you!
